3.9 Logical reasoning prevents unnecessary trouble

In the workplace, checking whether everything is logical is a good way to avoid "fussing around aimlessly". Logical thinking requires us to first clarify our goals, and then analyze the various possible paths to achieve them. Through logical reasoning, we can select the most direct and effective solutions, avoiding wasting time and energy on unimportant matters. Logic helps us identify causal relationships between things, avoiding wasting time on steps irrelevant to the outcome. For example, if an action doesn't produce the expected result, logic tells us it's an ineffective "fuss." Through logical analysis, we can anticipate potential problems and risks before taking action and prepare accordingly, rather than blindly trying and repeatedly making mistakes. This greatly reduces the waste of time and resources. Logical thinking requires consistency and avoids contradictions. This allows us to maintain coherence and consistency in decision-making and execution, preventing frequent changes in direction due to spur-of-the-moment decisions or emotional fluctuations, thus avoiding unnecessary setbacks. Logical thinking helps us quickly grasp the essence of a problem and find the core contradiction, rather than getting bogged down in superficial issues. This ability to "hit the nail on the head" is key to avoiding pointless, futile efforts. Logical thinking emphasizes making decisions based on facts and evidence, rather than feelings or impulses. This effectively avoids making wrong judgments due to emotions, biases, or incomplete information, which would otherwise require continuous correction or even starting over. In short, logical thinking is like a clear roadmap, allowing us to know where to go and how to get there with the least effort before taking action, thus minimizing unnecessary trouble and waste. |
